"-er"

There are many, many, many words that end in the -er sound (teacher, doctor, baker, etc) but not many that begin with the er- sound.  I have compiled a list of words that begin with the sound.  These words can be used for articulation practice for clients who have difficulty with the initial "-er" sound.  (As mentioned before the /r/ is produced differently depending upon what vowel sound it follows.)
Urn
Earning
Urchin
Ervin
Urgent
Urban
Early
Ursa Major
Earth
Herb (depending n how you pronounce it)
Earl
Ernie
Earthenware
Earthquake
Earthworm
