I've been wanting to
put together a blog with some of my speech therapy ideas for while now.
And, I guess now is the time! I really enjoy being a Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) and I love to see things click in the minds and mouths of my
clients. This blog will be updated at least once a week with new ideas
for therapy.
I highly urge those who have concerns about speech and language issues to consult an SLP to receive an assessment in order to better allow your needs to be met.
Okay, a little about me . . . I received my Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from Brigham Young University in 2004. I continued my education at Brigham Young University and graduated with my Master of Science in Communication Disorders in 2008. I have enjoyed working with a wide variety of populations in the years since graduation. I have worked at a hospital, elementary schools, doing home health, skilled nursing facilities, clinics, and even in a couple of preschools.
Alright, lets dive in!!!
